This FAQ explains the main parts of LetGod for people using the app. It focuses on what users can do in the app today.
Getting Started
What is LetGod?
LetGod is a prayer and reflection app that helps you bring thoughts, emotions, and prayer requests to God. You can check in during the day, receive a short spiritual moment, keep a prayer journal, save meaningful content, and pray with others through the Prayer Wall.
Do I need an account?
Yes. LetGod uses an account so your check-ins, prayer journal, saved content, notification settings, and subscription status can stay connected to you.
How do I create an account?
From the welcome screen, choose Create an Account and follow the sign-up steps. After you create an account, the app takes you into the signed-in experience.
How do I sign in?
From the welcome screen, choose Sign in. If you opened a protected screen before signing in, LetGod returns you to that screen after sign-in when possible.
What if I forgot my password?
Use the password reset option from the sign-in flow. LetGod sends a reset email when the address can be processed.
Check-Ins
What is a check-in?
A check-in is a short guided moment where you choose what you want to release to God. LetGod prepares spiritual content around that topic, such as a prayer, Scripture, and other worship or reflection options.
How do I start a check-in?
From Home, choose one of the suggested release options, such as gratitude or reassurance, or use I'm feeling ... to browse or type another feeling. LetGod then prepares a short spiritual moment for that topic.
What can I do with check-in content?
You can read the generated spiritual content, mark a check-in as a favorite, save individual pieces of content, retry if something takes too long, delete the check-in, or report content that feels wrong or inappropriate.
Why does my check-in say it is taking longer than expected?
Sometimes a check-in may take longer to prepare. If that happens, the app lets you try again safely.
Are there daily check-in limits?
Yes. Free users can create up to 3 check-ins per day. Premium users can create up to 10 check-ins per day. When the limit is reached, check-ins become available again after the daily reset.
What happens when I reach my daily limit?
LetGod shows a limit message on Home and in the check-in flow. Free users can go to the subscription screen to upgrade. Premium users can go to check-in history while waiting for the next daily reset.
History And Saved Content
Where can I find past check-ins?
Open Past Check-ins from Home or go to Check-in history from the bottom navigation. You can review previous check-ins, filter them, and open details.
What saved content can I view?
From Profile, you can open saved prayers, saved Scriptures, saved stories, saved songs, and saved hymns.
Is there a saved-item limit?
Free users can save up to 3 items. Premium includes expanded access for saving and revisiting content.
How do I remove saved content?
Open the saved content list from Profile and use the remove action on the saved item.
Prayer Journal
What is the prayer journal?
The prayer journal is a private place to write and revisit your own prayers.
How do I write a new prayer?
Open Prayer journal and choose New prayer or Write a new prayer. Write your prayer before saving.
Can I edit or delete a prayer?
Yes. Open a prayer from the journal to view details, edit it, or delete it. Deleting a prayer permanently removes it from your journal.
Can I organize prayers by status?
Yes. Prayer journal entries can use statuses such as ongoing, answered, or changed. The journal also includes filters so you can view all prayers or narrow the list by status.
Can I share a prayer request?
Yes. A prayer can be shared as a prayer request when you choose to share it. Shared requests appear on the Prayer Wall based on the sharing options available in the app.
Prayer Wall
What is the Prayer Wall?
The Prayer Wall is a shared space where users can pray with one another. You can view shared prayer requests, mark that you prayed with someone, light candles, and report inappropriate content.
What does "I prayed with" mean?
"I prayed with" lets you mark that you prayed for a shared request. The Prayer Wall includes a filter for requests you have prayed with.
What are candles?
Candles are a way to show prayerful support for a shared prayer. You can see your candle balance from Home and use candles on the Prayer Wall or a shared prayer detail screen.
How many candles do I receive?
Free users receive 3 weekly candles. Premium users receive 7 weekly candles. Candle packs may also be available for purchase in the app.
What if I run out of candles?
Open your candle balance from Home or use the candle purchase sheet where available. After a purchase, candles may take a moment to appear.
Can I filter the Prayer Wall?
Yes. The Prayer Wall includes filters for all requests, requests you prayed with, requests where you lit a candle, and your own requests. You can also sort newest first or oldest first.
How do I report a shared prayer?
Use the report option on a shared prayer. Choose a reason, such as spam, hate speech, violent or dangerous content, or other, and add context if needed.
Notifications
Where do notifications appear?
Use the notification bell on Home or open the notification inbox to see app notifications.
How do I turn notifications on?
Open Settings, then Notification Settings. Turn on notifications, choose your reminder preferences, and activate notifications on the current device if needed.
What check-in reminder times are available?
LetGod supports reminder times at 6:00, 9:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00.
What follow-up reminders are available?
You can choose follow-up reminders after 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
Why do I need to activate notifications on this device?
Notification permission and delivery are device-specific. Activating on a device lets LetGod register that device for reminders and inbox updates.
Subscriptions And Billing

Premium gives you more daily check-ins, deeper reflection history, expanded access to spiritual content, more room to write personal prayers, and more weekly candles.
How many check-ins do Free and Premium users get?
